'A Busy Day', monogrammed MBH, inscribed in pencil on the reverse, glazes on paper, image dimensions approx. 46.5 x 60 cm, matted, framed, overall dimensions approx. 69 x 85 cm, provenance: private collection, Regensburg district, cf.: member of the New Artists' Association Munich, Mr. Kinast pays tribute to the artist with the following words: 'The German painter of the lost generation, Maria Helwig (1894-1991), became known through her exhibitions in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, and Munich, and was also active at Tegernsee.'
