'Expulsion of Hagar - depicts a biblical story from the Book of Genesis (Genesis 16 and 21), in which Abraham, at the urging of his wife Sarah, sends his Egyptian maid and concubine Hagar, along with their son Ishmael, into the desert,' painted by Louis Schünzel in 1920, oil on canvas, image dimensions approx. 88 x 69 cm, gold frame, overall dimensions approx. 105 x 85 cm, provenance: private collection, Regensburg, artist information: active around 1910/20 in Dresden, produced copies of Old Master paintings at the Royal Picture Gallery in Dresden.
