'Regensburg in Winter (1986)', image dimensions 48.5 x 66 cm, matted, framed, overall dimensions approx. 84 x 67 cm, provenance: private collection, Regensburg district, framed, cf. literature: Painter and graphic artist, studied at the Cologne and Munich Academies of Fine Arts, study period in Paris at the Académie Colarossi, returned to Munich in 1930, continued his studies until 1934 with the winter semester under Carl Caspar. From 1934 freelance artist in Oberndorf near Bad Abbach, various prizes and exhibitions, including the Regensburg Culture Prize, the East Bavarian Culture Prize, the City of Regensburg Cultural Promotion Prize, the Albertus Magnus Medal, etc.
