'Coastal town of Rapallo in Italy', signed and dated 1903, glazes on paper, image dimensions approx. 27.5 x 40.5 cm, provenance: private collection, Regensburg district, see literature: German architect, painter, and photographer; active in the Regensburg area as court architect, among other things he planned the new castle of the Princes of Thurn and Taxis in Regensburg; recipient of the Royal Sicilian Order of Francis I; also worked for King Ludwig II. He designed a jewelry box as a wedding gift from the Prince to his bride, Archduchess Margarethe Clementine of Austria, among other things.
