18th-century style mantel clock; bears a 20th-century retailer’s signature ('Brandmann Berlin'). Features a curved case in *Boulle* marquetry with brass mounts and a glazed front. The brass dial includes enamel cartouches with Roman numerals. Equipped with an anchor escapement with a spring suspension and a star-shaped pendulum; strikes on two bells on the half-hour. Dimensions: 31 x 14 x 58 cm. Includes a key. Please note that the clocks have not been tested for functional working order. Provenance: Private collection, Straubing.
